1860 US Census for Oyster Bay, Queens, NY lists Jacob Van Wicklen, 40, carpenter, with wife, Martha, 41, and Lewis, 11, Henry, 8, and Charles, 3. (Where is Fannie? And...who is Henry? I have inserted a Henry in the list of children above because John dies in 1856 in infancy. Perhaps this is a middle name and the full name is William Henry, George Henry, or something to that effect. There is a George Van Wicklen, 17, farm laborer in household of John (48) and Sarah (47) Chichester in Huntington, Suffolk, NY. Perhaps this could be a George Henry VW from this family? More verification is needed.)

1870 US Census for Oyster Bay, Queens, NY lists Jacob Van Wicklen, 50, house carpenter, with wife, Martha, 52, keeping house, and dau., Fannie Ann, 17, at home.
